My first introduction to photography was while I worked on our yearbook staff at William Thomas Middle School in American Falls, Idaho. That was back in 1993! Hard to believe it was that long ago when I first experienced our world through the view finder.
What is it about action photography that interests me? Freezing the moment in time to always be remembered, discussed, and enjoyed over the years would be the answer to that question. I think of my own experience and how I look back and remember the entire environment surrounded by a photograph. I thoroughly enjoy reflecting on those times I spent on the diamond, the court, and the field!
My wife, Melissa, and I started Good Dog Photography to offer and provide those same opportunities to athletes in our community. As a former 3-sport athlete, I can offer each of my clients a unique perspective of the action and a memory that will last for a lifetime. My unique perspective comes from years on the field, court, and diamond as a player and coach. I understand the strategy and emotion of the game and aim to capture that in all my work.
In addition to sports, I also work with pets and other animals, as well as cars and trucks. These are all things I am passionate about and thoroughly enjoy capturing.
